Life Line Classes - 9:30am
Connected to Christ. Connected to Each Other.
Life can often feel like a mountain journey. There are moments filled with breathtaking views and joyful victories, and there are also times when the path feels steep, uncertain, and even overwhelming.
If you’ve ever felt that way, you’re not alone—and you’re warmly invited here.
Every climber needs a lifeline—something secure to hold onto when the climb gets difficult.
Jesus Christ is our Lifeline.
As God’s Word gently reminds us, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19). Christ is that steady anchor for us—our strength in weakness, our hope in uncertainty, and our constant companion on every step of the journey. When the path is smooth, He walks with us in joy. When the climb becomes steep, He strengthens us. And when we feel unsteady, He holds us fast.
Our Lifeline Classes are welcoming Sunday School communities where people from all walks of life come together to grow in God’s Word, deepen their relationship with Christ, and build genuine friendships with others who are also on the journey.
Just as climbers rely on one another for encouragement, guidance, and safety, we believe God designed us to walk through life together. In a Lifeline Class, you’ll find a place where you can learn Scripture, pray together, share life, celebrate God’s goodness, and support one another through both joys and challenges.
Wherever you are on your journey—whether you feel strong in your faith or are simply exploring what it means to follow Christ—you are welcome here. You don’t have to climb alone.
Find your Lifeline. Grow in Christ. Climb together. Rest in the One who never lets go.
Sandra Chappell
Belay Lifeline Class
Sandra Chappell faithfully serves the children of Crestview Missionary Baptist Church as the teacher of our Belay Lifeline Class for Kindergarten through 4th grade. As our pastor’s wife and a retired school teacher, Sandra brings years of experience, a love for children, and a heart for helping young people learn and grow.
Her background in education, combined with her love for the Lord, allows her to make Bible lessons engaging, understandable, and meaningful for young hearts. She desires for every child in her class to know that they are loved by God and to begin developing a strong foundation in His Word.
In mountain climbing, a belay provides security and support for a climber as they make their way upward. In much the same way, children need loving teachers, families, and a church surrounding them as they begin their journey of faith. Most importantly, they need to learn that Jesus Christ is the Lifeline they can always depend on.
Through the Belay Lifeline Class, Sandra encourages children to learn about Jesus, grow in their knowledge of the Bible, and discover what it means to trust Him through every part of life.
Sandra invites your children to come join the Belay Lifeline Class, where they will find a welcoming place to learn, grow, make friends, and experience the love of the Crestview Missionary Baptist Church family.
Pam Gothard
R.E.A.L. Lifeline Class
Pam Gothard faithfully serves Crestview Missionary Baptist Church in several important areas of ministry. She is the teacher of our R.E.A.L. Ladies Lifeline Class and also serves as our Music Director, using her gifts and talents to lead our church family in worship.
Pam has a heart for encouraging women to grow stronger in their relationship with the Lord and with one another. Through Bible study, meaningful discussion, prayer, and fellowship, the R.E.A.L. Ladies Lifeline Class provides a welcoming place where women can be themselves, share life together, and find encouragement through God’s Word.
Life can bring many different mountains to climb, and no woman was meant to face them alone. This class reminds ladies that through every season—the victories, struggles, changes, and challenges—Jesus Christ is our Lifeline, and there is strength in walking alongside other women of faith.
Pam’s love for the Lord is also reflected through her service as Crestview’s Music Director. Whether she is teaching God’s Word or leading our congregation in worship, her desire is to point others toward Christ and encourage them in their faith.
Pam invites you to come be a part of the R.E.A.L. Ladies Lifeline Class—a place to grow in God’s Word, build genuine friendships, encourage one another, and do REAL life together with Christ as our Lifeline.

Mount Everest represents one of the greatest climbs a person can undertake. In our Christian walk, we also encounter mountains—times that challenge us, strengthen us, and call us to a deeper faith. We may not always know what lies ahead on the climb, but we know Who holds the rope. Through every peak and every valley, Jesus Christ is our Lifeline.
Brother Danny’s desire is to see people come to know Christ and then continue climbing—growing stronger and more firmly grounded in God’s Word with each step of their journey.
Whether you have been studying the Bible for many years or are simply looking for a place to begin, Brother Danny invites you to join the Everest Adult Lifeline Class and discover the encouragement, fellowship, and love found in the Crestview Missionary Baptist Church family.

Greg and Dana are dedicated and faithful members of the Crestview family, and they share a desire to see even more young people come through our doors, experience the love found at Crestview, and most importantly, discover the hope and security found in Jesus Christ—the Anchor for our souls.
Suzi Ozella
Beta Lifeline Class
Suzi Ozella has been a faithful member of Crestview Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Throughout much of that time, she has lovingly served by teaching some of the youngest members of our church family.
Suzi has a special love for little ones and a heart for helping them take their very first steps in learning about Jesus. Through Bible stories, songs, activities, and lots of love and encouragement, she desires to help each child begin building a foundation of faith and grow in their knowledge of the Lord.
Our Beta Lifeline Class, designed especially for children ages 2 through Pre-K, is a place where little hearts can begin discovering just how much Jesus loves them. Like the beginning stages of a climb, these early years are where important foundations are formed. Our prayer is that every child will begin a lifelong journey of faith, learning from an early age that Christ is their Lifeline every step of the way.
Suzi, her husband Glen, and their son Lorenzo are all faithful members of the Crestview family. Together, they invite you and your family to come experience the love, fellowship, and welcoming spirit of Crestview Missionary Baptist Church. There is a place here for every member of your family—even the littlest ones!
